I read a news about the dogs on BBC. It was very interesting and exciting for me. In the news,it is stated that having a dog reduces the risk of children getting asthma 15%. At first, I did not believe that. But as I read the rest of the news,I thought that this can be true. Researchers at Uppsala University in Sweeden have suggested that living in too-clean conditions when we are a baby or child can increase the likelihood of developing allergy conditions such as asthma. They said 'This is known as hygiene hypotesis. When I saw this sentences Iwas surprised. It can be good and healthy for us living closer to nature but Ihave never thought that too-clean places may affect allergy conditions. As you know, dogs have a lot of benefits both for humans and for nature. However, reducing the risk of asthma is the  most interesting feature they have,I think. Researchers are trying to prove that by doing a research. They looked at data more than one million children and then they recorded the results. Finally, they have found that children grow up with dogs have reduced the risk of asthma later in life. I think this is a huge circumstance and all of us should own a dog or live closer to nature.

  1. Hello Ayşe :)
I read your writing and liked it a lot. I think it is an interesting subject about dogs. Before I read your writing I didn't know that dogs can avoid us from healthy problems. I couldn't see any problems on grammar and your witing structure. Dogs are so loyal and friendly animals but I am afraid of them as we can't know what they will do anytime. Therefore, I think we should take care of them. They can also get along with children very well. Maybe I can have a pet in the future but not now. :)
